BREAKING: The 5-year-old kidnapped and sent to ICE prison is now SICK from rotten food and deeply depressed!

Liam Conejo Ramos, the preschooler in the blue hat and backpack who was snatched by ICE agents and used to entrap his father in a shocking display of cruelty that shook the nation, is suffering under the notoriously poor conditions at ICE’s Dilley, Texas, concentration camp.

Columbia Heights superintendent Zena Stenvik told HuffPost that she spoke to the 5-year-old’s mother on Tuesday, and she said that poor little Liam is sick and depressed.

“Unfortunately, Liam’s health is not doing great right now,” said Stenvik. “He’s been ill. I’ve been told he has a fever. So I’m very, very concerned about his well-being in that facility.” His mother is also “incredibly distraught,” she said.

Ramos’ mother said that “Liam is getting sick because the food they receive is not of good quality. He has stomach pain, he’s vomiting, he has a fever and he no longer wants to eat.”
He is also very depressed, according to Rep. Joaquin Castro, who was able to secure a visit to the boy.

“He was lying in his father’s arms. His father said Liam has been sleeping a lot. He’s been asking about his family and his classmates. I think that he wants to go be back in school with his classmates,” said Castro.

Liam keeps asking for his hat and his backpack back.
It is no wonder that the boy is sick from the disgusting slop that the monsters at the CoreCivic private prison company feed their detainees, with attorney Eric Lee calling it “absolutely abysmal.”

“They mix baby formula with water that is putrid. The food has bugs in it. The guards are often verbally abusive,” Lee told Minnesota Public Radio. “One of my clients had appendicitis, collapsed in the hallway, was vomiting from pain, and the officials told him, ‘Take a Tylenol and come back in three days.’”

It is heartbreaking and infuriating to know that our tax dollars are paying for this poor little boy to suffer in prison for no reason whatsoever. His pain is a stain on our moral conscience that we will never recover from.
