BREAKING: Republican Congressman Thomas Massie publicly hammers Trump for his “inappropriate and disrespectful” remarks about Rob Reiner!
Trump’s appalling remarks about Reiner and blaming his hatred of Trump for his own murder have caused quite a stir on social media, with even his fellow Republicans calling him out for his shocking narcissism and rudeness.
“Regardless of how you felt about Rob Reiner, this is inappropriate and disrespectful discourse about a man who was just brutally murdered. I guess my elected GOP colleagues, the VP, and White House staff will just ignore it because they’re afraid? I challenge anyone to defend it,” wrote Massie on Twitter.
It’s completely indefensible, which is why today is going to feature a LOT of Republican Senators who suddenly have lost their cellphones and “haven’t seen” the president’s post when they get inevitably confronted about it by the media.
Truly ghastly stuff from Trump. Thank you, Mr. Massie, for having the decency to call him out.
