Awhile back Donald Trump’s babysitters announced that he was going for his annual physical, which was a problem because he’d already had his annual physical. It became a bigger problem when Trump blurted out that he’d had an MRI but couldn’t remember which part of his body it was on. But with Trump having so many other disasters out there, his health problems got pushed to the media’s back burner – until now.
Trump’s babysitters recently announced that he was going in for his “six month physical” and it was kind glaring that they’re no longer even trying to pretend he’s merely having annual physicals anymore. Trump announced that his doctors had declared him to be in “perfect” health, which is surreal given that last year he was diagnosed with the kind of vein problem that doesn’t magically go away. The “perfect” health thing was obviously a coverup for whatever all is really wrong with him. But here’s the thing.
When Trump had his recent “six month physical” – such an obscure notion that googling it only reveals results for six month old toddlers – he was seen by a whopping twenty-two doctors, according to the Washington Post. As a general rule, the older you get, the more doctors you end up having. And yes, the President of the United States is generally monitored more closely for health issues than the average citizen. But who the hell needs to see twenty-two doctors in one sitting?
The only way this happens is if something is very, very wrong with the patient. Either his health is failing in so many different ways at once that he needed nearly two dozen different kinds of doctors to manage the fallout, or his core health issues are causing cascading problems with every area of his body. Either way, the only possible reason to see twenty-two different doctors during your physical is if your health is so bad that you’re at risk of dying – or you are dying.
