A jawless American alligator was recently spotted in the Everglades, missing its entire upper jaw and exposing raw tissue and part of its snout.
Amazingly, it appeared active and alert with no signs of captivity, raising questions about how it’s managing to survive in the wild with such a severe injury. 🐊🤔
