BREAKING: FBI agents SOUND THE ALARM over Kash Patel’s Charlie Kirk cover-up

The hunt for Charlie Kirk’s killer was by far the biggest test yet for Trump’s FBI Director Kash Patel, and he completely bungled it — just as one might expect from a conspiracy podcaster with absolutely no qualifications for the critical role he’s been somehow given.

On Wednesday, Patel posted on Twitter that he had a subject in custody but then embarrassingly had to walk it back two hours later, possibly while he was at dinner at the famously exclusive and very fancy Rao’s restaurant in New York City. One might think that a high-profile political killing might prompt the DIRECTOR OF THE FBI to go out to dinner another night, but not Kash!

“He should not have posted anything about the case until there was certainty,” said one former senior FBI official. “People need to trust what the director says. He needs to be measured and always right. It wasn’t a good look.”

Patel then travelled to Utah, which also infuriated the rank and file. “No serious director would show up at this stage,” said the former senior FBI official to NBC News. “They can’t help. They can only distract. Every agent needed to support the visit is an agent not available to work the case.”

After suspect Tyler Robinson was turned in by his own father, Kash Patel took credit for finding him and bragged that “This is what happens when you let good cops be cops,” even though HE DIDN’T DO ANYTHING AND LITERALLY HAD THE SUSPECT HANDED TO HIM.

To make matters worse, Patel then concealed the news of the arrest from the world so that Trump could personally break the news on Fox and Friends. FBI employees were disgusted by the whole thing. One law enforcement officer said it showed his “public inability to meet the moment as a leader.”

FBI agents aren’t the only ones furious at Patel. MAGA influencer Chris Rufo posted on Twitter that it was “time for Republicans to assess whether Kash Patel is the right man to run the FBI.” Commentator Erik Erikson responded “He’s right. The FBI situation is concerning.”

Patel is even facing a lawsuit for illegally firing FBI agents in a political purge, one of whom happened to be the VERY experienced Mehtab Syed, the head of the bureau’s Salt Lake City office.

Yes, it should have been concerning to everyone from the outset that a podcaster who fraternized with neo-Nazis and endorsed radical conspiracy theories was put in charge of one of our nation’s most important law enforcement agencies. He needs to be fired and replaced with someone who can be trusted to uphold the law and not put his personal ego — or the President’s ego — before his duty to our nation and to justice.
