BREAKING: HAHAHA! Jimmy Kimmel brutally RIPS into Trump for his ridiculous obsession with the “Escalatorgate” incident at the UN and calls him out for hiding the Epstein files!
You might not remember that Trump’s escalator at the UN General Assembly meeting a few days ago suddenly stopped, because it was a minor technical error that most people would have forgotten about immediately. Not Trump, who, in his perpetual paranoia and megalomania, has decided that there was some kind of grandiose United Nations plot to turn off his escalator and cause him and the First Lady to trip and fall, or something.
This, of course, is beyond preposterous, and Kimmel was quick to call him out.
“One of the things I wanna do in New York is go see the escalator that tried to viciously attack the President this week. Have you been enjoying Trump’s most ridiculous distraction from the Epstein files yet? The president claims he is the victim of a triple sabotage this week: the teleprompter didn’t work, the sound system, and most nefariously of all, HIS ESCALATOR stopped. The UN says they think it was Trump’s own videographer who tripped a safety mechanism, but MAGAtha Christie and his Defective Detectives do not believe it, they are on the case. This was not a minor incident; this was a HARROWING escape!
After showing clips of some Fox hosts freaking out over the Escalator Incident, Kimmel mocked Maria Baritomo for saying that the broken escalator made the president “vulnerable.”
“UNLESS HE CAN WALK!” laughs Kimmel. “They act like they dropped him into shark-infested waters. You know what another word for a frozen escalator is? STAIRS! I’m starting to get confused. Is he the strongest, healthiest, most physically powerful man-beast ever elected president, or a brittle-boned grandma with osteoporosis? Which is it???”
This whole escalatorgate is indeed an escalation in and of itself: an escalation of the hysteria, hyperbole, and paranoid delusions that the entire MAGA mediasphere treats anything that happens to Trump — and how willing they all are to demean and disgrace themselves in order to cater to his every insane impulse.
Since returning to the air, superstar comedian and late-night host Jimmy Kimmel has made it clear he’s not toning down his material one bit, having gone after the president during his monologue day after day after day. Let’s keep it up, Jimmy! Get him!
