For nearly three decades, Sarah Mitchell carried a question that never left her mind: What happened to her brother?
Growing up in a small town in Ohio, Sarah and her older brother, Michael, were inseparable. They rode bicycles together, spent summers fishing at a nearby lake, and promised they would always stay close no matter where life took them.

When Michael walked through the front door of Sarah’s home, neither of them could hold back tears. Children, grandchildren, and relatives gathered to witness a moment many thought would never happen.
“It felt like getting a piece of my life back,” Sarah said.
Today, the siblings speak regularly and are making up for lost time.
